CLINIC: Thank you for calling Planned Parenthood. How can I help you?
CALLER: Hi. Yeah. I was wondering if you guys do abortions there.
CLINIC: You'd actually have to contact the clinic for that. Their phone number is 633?4550.
CALLER: Do you know if they're open right now?
CLINIC: What time is it? No, they're closed for today already.
CALLER: Well, could I ask you a quick question? I'm just really scared, and I have a lot of questions.
CLINIC: Okay, I'll try, but this is the administrative offices. I could give you a number to a different clinic if you'd like.
CALLER: Well, I don't know. I don't know. I guess.
CLINIC: Okay. Let's see which one is open right now. I'll give you the number for Anaheim.
CALLER: Okay.
CLINIC: It's 956?2002.
CALLER: Okay.
CLINIC: Okay?
CALLER: My friend told me that since I'll be 14 in March that you they would have to tell my parents I was having an abortion. But my boyfriend's 22. Would they be able to just have him sign everything, and they wouldn't have to tell anybody?
CLINIC: Actually, you don't have to have your parents sign that at all. It's all up to you.
CALLER: Really?
CLINIC: Yeah. They don't even have to know about it if you don't want them to.
CALLER: Okay. Well, do you know if I could get birth control if I wasn't pregnant?
CLINIC: Yeah. You can get that also.
CALLER: Would they have to tell anybody about that at all?
CLINIC: No. Everything that goes on inside the clinic, that's where it stays pretty much.
CALLER: Really?
CLINIC: Um?hmm.
CALLER: Well, what was your name?
CLINIC: My name's Christina.
CALLER: Okay.
CLINIC: Okay?
CALLER: Thanks.
CLINIC: Thank you. Bye bye.
